Another of Royal Caribbean’s impressive ships, the Liberty of the Seas exceeds all expectations with a variety of restaurants, activities and entertainment. Ride the waves on the FlowRider surf simulator, splash around at the H2O Zone Waterpark or lounge in a cantilevered whirlpool that extends 12 feet from the ship. Sports enthusiasts will love the Everlast boxing ring, rock-climbing wall, full-size sports court for basketball or volleyball and sports pool. There is also a miniature golf course, ice-skating rink, and fitness center and day spa. The Royal Promenade is a four-story area that runs through the center of the ship and is the main location for shops, bars and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Bring your appetite because there’s plenty to eat, from a ’50s-style diner, pizza bar and casual buffet to an upscale steakhouse. Evening entertainment includes glitzy shows in the five-story Platinum Theatre, gaming in the casino and drinks and dancing in a variety of bars and lounges. Popular nightspots include Boleros Latin-themed lounge, the nautical Schooner Bar and the sophisticated Vintages wine bar. All cabins are equipped with private bath, mini-bar, sofa and vanity table with an extendable working surface for a laptop computer. A great selection of family staterooms is available for guests who wish to stay together. Options include the Presidential Family Suite and the Royal Family Suite with multiple bedrooms and baths, and Family Oceanview Staterooms and Promenade Family Staterooms, which are larger and sleep more than four guests.
