In addition to areas just for kids and teens, MSC offers lots of sports and activities the whole family will enjoy, such as miniature golf, swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball and shuffleboard. For more fun and games, as well as quiet moments, your family is welcome to enjoy the Internet café, card room, library and outdoor cinema. On the Fantasia-class ships you’ll find an exciting interactive 4D-cinema, as well as a Formula 1 racing simulator on MSC Fantasia and two mini bowling alleys on MSC Splendida.
Discounted Shore Excursions:
There’s so much you’ll want to share on MSC’s shore excursions, whether it’s hiking to a waterfall in a tropical rainforest or visiting castles in Europe. That’s why MSC offers a discount of up to 30% on shore excursions for kids 14 and under. Or if you want to venture out on your own, MSC offers a port time Mini Club service for parents. With one day prior notice, you can simply sign your children ages 3 through 6 into the well-supervised Mini Club, while you go on a shore excursion.
Food just for kids
Kids love MSC’s All-American and Italian specialties, such as fresh pizza, pasta and cheeseburgers. MSC also offers out-of-the-ordinary selections, from squid rings to potato gnocchi with pesto sauce. For dessert your kids can dive into homemade ice cream with fruit, chocolate cake or other delicious choices. And remember, dining is included with your cruise, making your whole vacation even more affordable.
Soft-Drink Package
Sometimes only an ice-cold soft drink or fruit juice will satisfy the young ones. That’s when a pre-purchased soft drink package comes in handy – it includes 14 cans or large fountain drinks for one low price. Now that’s refreshing.
Teen Club
MSC’s Teen Club is the perfect place for kids 13-17 to meet and have a good time with planned activities and parties. Or they can chill out in the virtual game arcade. The Fantasia-class ships also feature a teen disco with dancing and karaoke, a 4-D interactive cinema, and the thrills of the Formula 1 racing simulator and mini bowling alleys. Older teens may even enjoy an authentic Italian lesson or the Internet café. What’s more, parents can purchase a My Teen Card, so kids from 12 to 17 can make pre-paid purchases on board.
